Life changes such as a loss, a breakup or divorce, a job change or even work-related burnout can cause anxiety, worry, sadness and self-confidence issues to flare up. Whether or not you struggled with these issues in the past, it can feel daunting and overwhelming to not feel like your old self. You feel as if you are stuck in a rut and wish that you had the tools to feel the way you did before.
If you are ready for a change, you’ve come to the right place.
In my work with clients, I have seen that the best solutions for them are the ones that resonate with their inner knowing. We all possess a grounded intuition, that inner voice that helps us make the best decisions for ourselves in every challenging situation we confront. But sometimes, adversity, fear, stress and uncertainty can “mute” this inner knowing, and this separation from this part of ourselves can cause more suffering than we are already experiencing.
Our mute buttons are our “blind spots”: unhelpful ways of thinking, unhealthy coping skills, and self-limiting beliefs that can accumulate in our psyche over time. As a therapist, my role is to help you uncover your unique blind spots so that we can gently examine them together, honor the ones that serve you, and work to change the ones that no longer do. I view my role as your co-pilot throughout this discovery process so that you can access the inner knowledge you already possess within you.
My Focus
As the first person to attend college in my family and as a daughter of immigrant parents, I understand the pressures that can lead to perfectionism and fear of failure. My own experience, coupled with 11 years of working in the field of mental health have helped me to gently and confidently guide others on their own path of reclaiming their resilience and self-worth.
